Novel writing in Omani literature is currently experiencing rapid development. The confident entry of new writers into the literary field has further increased scholars’ interest in this literature. This article discusses the development of novel writing in Omani literature. The study lists the factors that have contributed to the development of this genre and also mentions the names of well-known novelists.
