EPITHETS CHARACTERISTIC OF FEMALE CHARACTERS IN ARABIC FAIRY TALES

This article examines the image of women in the magical fairy tales of the peoples of the Arabian Peninsula, providing a description of this image and paying special attention to the role of epithets, similes, and hyperbole in the creation of female characters. By studying the distinctive features of female protagonists in Arabic magical tales, the paper offers scholarly reflections on the methods of character creation and typification. It also reveals the specific features of epithets through a comparative analysis of their use in the genres of fairy tales and sira.
