The article is devoted to studying the layer of Arabic borrowings functioning in the terminology system of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the modern Uzbek language. The relevance of the work is determined, on the one hand, by the active development of the Uzbek segment of the global digital space and the need to systematize its terminological framework, and on the other hand, by the processes of renewed interest in Arabisms as an original layer of vocabulary within the framework of Uzbekistan’s state language policy.
