THE LINGUISTIC INTERPRETATION OF THE CONCEPT OF TIME IN THE ARABIC LANGUAGE (ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE TERMS ZAMAN (زمان), ZAMN (زمن), AND DAHR (دهر))

This article analyzes the linguistic and semantic characteristics of the concept of time in the Arabic language. In particular, the lexical and grammatical aspects of such terms as zaman (زمان), zamn (زمن), dahr (دهر), and waqt (وقت) are examined. Based on the views of classical Arabic lexicographers and scholars of nahw (Arabic grammar), the similarities and differences between these terms are analyzed. In addition, the usage of the concept of time in hadith texts is illustrated through examples, revealing its semantic and grammatical features. The study contributes to a deeper understanding of the category of time in Arabic linguistics within both linguistic and religious contexts.
