This article provides information on the work "Kitab al-Jamahir fi-Ma'rifat al-Jawahir" by Abu Rayhan Muhammad ibn Ahmad Beruni, one of the founders of early Eastern civilization, and details of its translation into Uzbek. Among the scholar's more than 150 works, the surviving "Jawahirot" contains scientific information on more than 30 precious stones and minerals. The work was translated into Russian and Uzbek by Arab scholars. The purpose of the article is to study the scientific value of the work and the features of its translation.
