THE EXPRESSION OF SIMILE IN ARABIC SOURCES

This article examines the features of the expression of simile in Arabic sources. It discusses the theoretical foundations of simile, its place in classical Arabic rhetoric, and its functional significance in artistic speech. The study also analyzes various types of similes found in Arabic literary sources, focusing on their semantic and stylistic aspects through relevant examples. The research substantiates the role of simile in conveying meaning and its connection with artistic thinking.
