DISTINCTIVE FEATURES OF EARLY XX CENTURY ARABIC CHILDREN’S LITERATURE

This article examines the development of Arabic children’s literature from the beginning of the 21st century to the present, focusing on its main stages and its thematic and formal characteristics. The study highlights the transformation of Arabic children’s literature from a traditional educational tool into a digital, interactive, and multimedia cultural phenomenon. Particular attention is given to the impact of globalization, digital technologies, and artificial intelligence, as well as the emergence of new themes such as ecology, peace culture, and psychological issues. The article also analyzes the views of contemporary Arab literary scholars and the works of children’s writers, demonstrating how Arabic children’s literature integrates into the global cultural space while preserving its national identity.
