This article systematically analyzes the place of linguopoetics within the system of modern philology, the process of its formation as a scholarly discipline, as well as its interrelations with literary theory, literary history, literary criticism, and linguistic stylistics. Linguopoetics is interpreted as an integrative scientific field that serves to study the literary text in the unity of content and form, in the interaction of language and aesthetic impact. The role of genre, style, historical and cultural context, and stylistic devices in the linguopoetic analysis of a literary work is highlighted.
