This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the categories of equivalence and adequacy in translation from Arabic into Uzbek. Particular attention is paid to the theoretical and practical aspects of preserving semantic invariance, reconstructing communicative function, and adequately conveying cultural components in the translation process The study examines the typological differences between Arabic and Uzbek, specifically the root-based morphological system of Arabic and the agglutinative structure of Uzbek, which necessitate the application of various translation transformations.
