PHILOSOPHICAL, EPISTEMOLOGICAL, AND METHODOLOGICAL ISSUES IN THE APPLICATION OF PSYCHIATRIC DIAGNOSTICS IN LINGUISTICS
Laziza Sanjarovna Khudayberdiyeva ,Abstract
This article examines the philosophical, epistemological, and methodological issues associated with the application of psychiatric diagnostic methods in linguistics. It discusses the theoretical foundations for evaluating changes in human speech and language activity in relation to an individual's mental state. The study also addresses issues of objectivity, reliability, ethical considerations, and the risk of misdiagnosis when psychiatric conclusions are based on linguistic indicators. Furthermore, it substantiates the potential of interdisciplinary collaboration between linguistics and psychiatry while outlining the methodological limitations of this approach.
