NATIONAL AND CULTURAL STEREOTYPES OF THE CONCEPT OF LOVE IN UZBEK FOLK PROVERBS
Madina Kosimovna Sadullayeva ,Abstract
This article examines the national and cultural stereotypes of the concept of love as reflected in Uzbek folk proverbs from a linguocultural perspective. The study explores the role of stereotypes as cognitive units that embody collective thinking, cultural memory, and national values, while analyzing the semantic content of the concept of love in relation to family values, loyalty, respect, compassion, and interpersonal relationships. The national and cultural stereotypes embedded in Uzbek folk proverbs are analyzed through a linguocultural approach, revealing their interconnection with gender, religious, and moral values. The findings demonstrate the significance of the concept of love in shaping the Uzbek national mentality and cultural identity, as well as the role of stereotypes in preserving and transmitting cultural knowledge across generations.
