ARTISTIC INTERPRETATION OF THE FOLKLORIC MODEL: THE CHRONOTOPE OF JOURNEY AND TRIAL IN THE NOVEL REBELLION AND OBEDIENCE

The article examines the artistic nature of the chronotope of journey and trial in Ulugbek Hamdam’s novel Rebellion and Obedience. It analyzes spatial changes in the protagonist’s life, the motifs of journey, departure and return, their folkloric roots, and their role in revealing Akbar’s inner experiences and the process of self-discovery.
