VIRTUAL REALITY AS A SOCIO-PHILOSOPHICAL PROBLEM IN THE INFORMATION SOCIETY

Abstract

This article explores the transformation of human consciousness in the context of the information society during the era of globalization under the influence of virtual reality. It examines the changes in perception, value orientations, and social interactions that occur within the space of virtual being. Special attention is given to the philosophical interpretation of the virtual world phenomenon and its role in shaping new forms of communication, thinking, and personal identity. The study also analyzes both the positive and negative impacts of virtual environments on individual and collective consciousness.
