This article examines the dialectical relationship between philosophy and medicine as two fundamental forms of human cognition, aimed at understanding the human being as the highest value. The author analyzes the historical and philosophical prerequisites for the integration of philosophical and medical knowledge, demonstrating that medicine, as a practical form of human care, and philosophy, as a reflection on the meaning of human existence, complement each other in the process of developing a holistic worldview. Particular attention is paid to the anthropological and axiological aspects, revealing the role of the human being not only as an object of medical diagnosis but also as a subject of spiritual and moral self-knowledge.
