This article analyzes the content of scientific ethics and the processes of its transformation in the context of contemporary scientific development. It demonstrates that factors such as the global information environment, the rapid development of artificial intelligence, the flow of open scientific data, the interdisciplinary nature of scientific research, and the social responsibility of the scientific community require a new interpretation of scientific ethical norms. Issues related to plagiarism, scientific integrity, data security, the ethical boundaries of experiments, and the impact of scientific results on society are also considered in the contemporary context.
