This article analyzes the concept of the great scientist and philosopher of the 20th century, Carl Friedrich von Weissecker, which illuminates the dialectical relationship between scientific and technical progress and ecological safety. The author considers Weissecker's ideas such as quantum mechanics, theory of consciousness, structural sciences, the principle of complementarity, information physics, time symmetry and evolution of consciousness as a methodological basis for understanding ecological problems.
