SOCIAL POLICY IS AIMED AT PROVIDING TARGETED ASSISTANCE TO WOMEN IN UZBEKISTAN

The article examines issues related to poverty reduction in state social policy in the new era of reforms in Uzbekistan, based on three strategic development programs, in particular, targeted work with the most vulnerable segments of the population in need of social protection: the poor, people who have lost their breadwinners, single women, women with disabilities, and unemployed youth. The results of a completely new system of financial assistance and support for families in need are presented: the “Iron Notebook,” “Women's Notebook,” and “Youth Notebook.” The topic is covered using international documents on social issues related to the empowerment of all women, including the UN Sustainable Development Goals and Uzbekistan's national sustainable development goals for 2030, as well as legislative documents of the Republic of Uzbekistan, archival collections and current archives of non-governmental organizations that protect women's interests, and the analysis was conducted on this basis.
