This article provides a philosophical analysis of the relationship between religious tolerance and secularism in the context of sustainable development. The study examines the role of religious tolerance in fostering spiritual stability, social harmony, and civic solidarity, as well as the importance of secularism in ensuring legal equality, freedom of belief, and the rule of law. Drawing on Eastern and Western philosophical traditions, the paper argues that these principles are not contradictory but complementary. The findings highlight the theoretical and practical significance of balancing religious tolerance and secularism for achieving sustainable development and social stability.
