This article explores the life path of the great commander and statesman Amir Temur, his lineage, and his historical role based on authentic sources. It highlights that his father, Amir Tarag‘ay, was among the influential beks of the Barlas tribe, while Temur himself, from an early age, demonstrated strong will, wisdom, and a deep sense of justice. Drawing on historical evidence, the paper analyzes Temur’s efforts in strengthening the state, ensuring political stability, and improving the welfare of the people. The study also discusses the views of historians Sharaf al-Din Ali Yazdi, Nizam al-Din Shami, and modern researcher Turg‘un Fayziyev, who evaluated Temur’s significant role in history.
