This article analyzes the ethical issues associated with limiting personal freedom from a social-philosophical perspective in the context of the rapid development of digital technologies and cyberspace. The sharp increase in information flows, widespread implementation of artificial intelligence, big data, and algorithmic management systems in cyberspace leads to a re-evaluation of fundamental values such as personal freedom, privacy, and information independence.
