THE FORMATION OF THE PARADIGM OF MORAL VALUES IN THE PHILOSOPHY OF AVICENNA AND ITS METAPHYSICAL FOUNDATIONS
Dildor Akmalovna Pulatova ,Abstract
This article analyzes the problem of moral values in the philosophy of Avicenna based on the paradigm of the organic unity of knowledge – belief – virtue – personal perfection. The study interprets morality not as a set of isolated rules or external norms of behavior, but as an integral philosophical system that ensures the attainment of human perfection through knowledge, inner conviction, and practical virtues. Knowledge is substantiated as the initial foundation of moral understanding, belief as the factor that provides spiritual stability to this understanding, and good character as the practical manifestation of the unity of knowledge and belief. It is also demonstrated that good and evil are relative moral categories evaluated from the perspective of human perfection, while moral virtues are formed through conscious practice and the principle of moderation. The article reveals the metaphysical foundations of Avicenna’s ethical doctrine and scientifically substantiates that morality is closely connected with human rational nature, ultimate purpose, and essence as a being. The results of the study contribute to a deeper understanding of Ibn Avicenna’s philosophy of moral values within the context of contemporary philosophical research.
