THE ROLE OF MASS MEDIA IN SHAPING POLITICAL CULTURE

This article analyzes modern trends in the study of political culture and the media. The study highlights the role of political culture in the political processes of society, the importance of forming the political consciousness of citizens, and the role of the media in the political communication system. It also analyzes new forms and methods emerging in the process of disseminating political information as a result of the development of digital technologies, the Internet, and social networks. The article pays special attention to the influence of the media in the formation of political culture in the modern information space, the processes of political socialization, and the issues of information security. According to the results of the study, modern means of communication are an important factor in developing political culture, increasing the political activity of citizens, and strengthening democratic processes.
