THE GEOPOLITICAL IMPORTANCE OF THE OIL FACTOR IN THE PERSIAN GULF

This article analyzes the global geopolitical significance of the Persian Gulf region through its energy resources, particularly oil and gas reserves. It examines the region’s strategic position, energy flows passing through the Strait of Hormuz, and their interconnection with national and international political processes. In addition, the evolution of oil geopolitics in the Persian Gulf region is explored within the context of contemporary security challenges. The study highlights the role of regional states in maintaining the global energy and strategic balance, as well as the importance of diversifying export routes in ensuring regional security.
