The article presents examination data of 70 children with tic hyperkinesis. Tic hyperkinesis affects the cognitive and emotional spheres, and these changes are most pronounced with common tics. Based on the Toulouse-Pieron test, which characterizes the ability to voluntarily concentrate attention, it has been proven that children with local tics have a significantly higher concentration of attention compared to common ones.

Stroke is an extremely pressing medical and social problem due to its widespread prevalence and high rates of disability and mortality. According to the stroke registry of the Research Center of Neurology, only 25% of patients after a stroke are completely independent in daily life and are able to work [3]. The cause of disability after a stroke, along with motor and sensory disorders, is often cognitive impairment, which significantly worsens the quality of life of the patient and his family members. One of the most significant and common post-stroke cognitive defects are speech disorders. They are observed in at least 42% of patients who have had a stroke (2.1).

Among the clinical forms of TBI, according to various authors, concussion dominates - from 81 to 90% [3,5]. Brain contusions of varying severity are detected in 5-13% of patients [6]. At the same time, patients with mild TBI prevail – 80%. From 30 to 50% of cases are moderate and severe brain contusions [11]. Intracranial hematomas with compression of the brain are observed in 1 to 9% of cases [19].

Scientific work is based on the results of clinical, instrumental, endoscopic, neuropsychological (VAS and SAN questionnaires) and laboratory examination of 57 patients aged 18 to 69 years with gastroesophageal reflux disease (31 men and 26 women). According to the results, patients with negative endoscopic and catarrhal reflux esophagitis scored lower on the VAS and SAN questionnaires than patients with erosive reflux esophagitis.

This article presents an analysis of internal correlations between locomotor and cognitive impairments in men and women suffering from moderate cognitive impairment of vascular origin. 96 patients (50 men and 46 women) were examined using the MMSE, Frontal Dysfunction Battery and Tinetti test.

Before talking about the comparative epidemiology of metabolic syndrome and its prognostic significance, it should be mentioned that epidemiological studies reported in the world used about 10 different definitions (criteria) of the syndrome, which significantly complicates their interpretation. The first criteria were proposed by WHO experts in 1998 (approved in 1999) [1,2], who placed insulin resistance (IR) at the forefront of the diagnosis of MS. Then, in 1999, the ECIR (European Group on Insulin Resistance) criteria appeared [2]. These criteria were also based on the presence of insulin resistance, diagnosed in this case on the basis of hyperinsulinemia.
